I am planning a family camping trip. No RV, just tents. But I want to rent ATV’s and I am not sure which of these campgrounds is better to stay at? I want a fun atmosphere as I am bringing my friends and my kids. Please give me the pro’s and con’s for each. Thanks

When I was young, my family and I would go to an all-ages, church-sponsored, reunion camp for 1 week every summer. The campers were fellow church members from the surrounding states, and the week’s schedule was packed with arts and craft activities, campfires, kids classes, mixers/activities to interact with fellow campers, hikes, etc. The campgrounds [...]

I just bought a summer tent and I was wondering if I could use it in winter. I live in Australia, so our winters aren’t that cold or wet. I will use it mostly in summer but I was thinking of using it in Broken Hill in July. Tent I bought: http://www.kathmandu.com.au/Tents_&_Shelters/Family_Camping_/87057/Retreat_30_Tent.html Thoughts?

I’ve been camping all my life, lived tents for months at a time in near-freezing, no commodities, etc. And I love it. Now given that, I did not go hiking/backpacking nearly as often. We usually had a base camp to go back to. Whenever I did, I handled it well. Now my boyfriend is very [...]

We want to go camping this summer and are wondering if there is anywhere in the UK which already has tents set up? We only have a small car and are unable to take all the equipment with us. We also do not want to buy everything unless we enjoy the ‘outdoor life’ as a [...]

My uncle was listening to Harold Camping on Family Radio and he mistakenly believed that he sells camping gear like tents, flashlights, sleeping bags, etc. He has been searching on his iphone all day for the company because he needs a new sleeping bag, but he says "All the links are about the rapture!" He [...]

So Im finally going to stop borrowing old cast off tents from random family members and I am going to actually buy my own tent. I cant decide on a backpacking style tent, or the "camping" tent since Im not hugely into one or the other. I backpack and do campstyle camping but I usually [...]
