My step mom taught me to make a list and have it laminated.. So I will just give you what we always take.
Sunscreen, camera, beach towels, cooler full of foods, snacks, drinking water(some cabins are furnished with water but not for drinking), fold up chairs, Hammer and steaks for tents, first aid kit,
charcoal, lighter, for cookouts, floaties or Life vests if kids need them, bug spray or lotion ( we use Avon’s lotions ),paper plates, towels, cups and utensils, toilet paper, Koosies for cans or bottles.(be sure u check to see if you can bring bottles, some places don’t allow em), flashlights and extra batteries, We also take along a string of white xmas lights to string around an area where we sit and a long extension cord. board games and cards in case of rain and ur stuck inside.Sleeping bags , blankets, clothing and swimsuits..,also take something warm to wear in case it turns cold..we once got stuck with 50 degree weather and all we had was shorts..Have fun!

Bring what you would usually bring for a sleepover, just leave out the makeup. You’re a guy.. so don’t worry. If you have a wife, and if you are girl, (sorry I didn’t read your name on what your avatar looked like) then just bring some cover up. Don’t bring white clothing, and bring lots of bug spray. Shampoo, face wash, latern, and maybe can extra pillow because your pillow will get damp.

Why so late? Any camping trip should start as soon as both parents get home from work. That gives you two nights in the woods.Packing should be simple and easy.
