My daughter is 3, and she loves to go camping. She even has her own tent and sleeping bag, although she slept in our tent. We take a backpack full of toys…ones that can get dirty, but still keep her entertained. Make sure to take food that the kids like ~ hot dogs are fun to cook over the fire. We also made apple hobo pies, yum! You could take a shovel, and let them dig in the dirt ~ good to teach science (bugs, roots, etc.). Go on short walks and talk about what you see. My daughter loves the water, so she has her own mud boots and fishing pole. We let her stomp around in the water, but no luck catching any fish.
Don’t tell any scary stories. Most of all, have fun!
Don’t forget the marshmallows, have their favorite toys with them, just in case they get scared.
You didn’t mentioned how old they are, I don’t know what games to recommend, are going to be close to water?, try catching frogs and stuff like that.
Sorry I can’t help much
i suggest you that
try to play with those kids…
try to concern them a lot..
try to have an attention on them..
try to make a good food..
home made food..
or you can just buy some snacks outside..
and one more…
do SMILE to your kids !!!
PEACEEE AND SMILEEE ALWAYS !!! >.<
You definitely need to pick up some Hobo Pie Makers…Soooo delicious…Bring books for them…balls…toys…
bring some stuff from home to keep them entertained- small things, of course.
We just went camping last week and I had a 2 year old with me. We took the sprinkler from home and sand toys. We are in Florida so its HOT and SANDY so he was well entertained
Make pizza pudgy pies….it is a sandwich maker you put in the fire two pieces of buttered bread pizza sauce pepperoni and shredded cheese they are awsome. to keep them entertained get them some lawn games or a slip and slide…squirt guns are fun too.
Keep the food simple..Hot dogs, sandwiches hamburgers fresh fruit , nuts. berries..Have them look for different types of rocks, make sure they pick small ones then you will look up what kind of rock they are when you get back home..go hiking at a small pace..kids love to explore.Be sure you tell then safety rules..If they get lost stay where they are don’t wander…also don’t forget to bring stuff for smores..its a necessity! chocolate , marshmallows, and graham crackers..yummy..we always gave each kid their own flashlight and light sticks..that will entertain them for hours..lol. let them help you find kindling for the fire..and teach them how to build a fire correctly..like having a bucket of water near by in case of spreading..how to put rocks around the campfire to keep it from spreading..Mainly just include them in everything..have fun.
